This news was a bit old but unfortunately such a big news has not been projected well neither by the print nor the e-media. As soon as I read about it I thought to write as well as to spread the message across as not only the achievement is praiseworthy but also it gives me a really good feeling that despite the unrest and negativity grasping the nerves of Pakistani’s, in recent times we do have couple of good news to cheer for. The most talked about is Ali Moeen Nawazish setting up the world record by passing 23 subjects in the A-level exams, then is the young Sheikh Imran from Karachi designer of Xtravo Explorer, a explorer that is unique in it’s features. Thereafter is the invention of world’s largest processor in terms of silicon density by Dr.Shoaib Ahmed Khan the founder of “Enabling Technologies”.
Then comes this little, young and energetic technology geek becoming the youngest Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) at the age of 12. Irtiza Haider is a resident of city Faisalabad and he was a student of 8th class when he passed the CCNA exam. For those of you who do not really know what CCNA is all about, it is certification exam offered by Cisco (The world’s leader in networking equipments) and usually undertook by computer/ telecom professionals as it covers advance topics on practical implementation of communication and networking technology. Being a CCNA my self I can assure you it’s not a piece of cake ” A 12 year passing this exam, he is surely a genius “. Irtiza was enrolled in CCNA classes back in june 2007 and has been mentored by Rizwan Dastagir. In one of the interviews Irtiza said he finds the syllabus quite interesting and he spends nearly 9 hours daily for the preparation. I still don’t understand how can he grasp the concepts of routing, IP addressing, OSI reference layers in such a small age.

"There is such great talent coming out of Pakistan and this is an ideal point of reference for all of us,” says Dr Aamir Matin, General Manager of Cisco Systems in Pakistan."
I do remember back in 1990′s Afra Shafquat makes me proud to be as a Pakistani by achieving an award of World’s Youngest Sun Java Programmer and also World’s youngest Microsoft Certified VB. Net Framework programmer. Despite the frustration and the chaos there are always positive vibes coming from the young blood, and I am pretty much hopeful and positive that ”
This nation is not just a nuclear power but InsAllah the time will come when we will be the focus of technological run“..
